Arthur “Bro. Brown” Sullivan, 82, a native and resident of Fairford, Alabama passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Jackson Medical Center. He worked as a welder and owned his own pulpwood truck. Bro. Brown loved going to church, praying, and was a member of Home Gospel Holiness Church. Bro. Brown loved his family and church family. If Bro. Brown was not joking and playing around with others, something had to be wrong. He was a prankster and loved for people to laugh. He also enjoyed gardening in his spare time. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his son, Arthur L. Sullivan; two daughters, Loria Ann Allo and Ina Mae Sullivan; and siblings, Ina, Hazel, Ann Marie, Geneva, Annie, Juanita, Idell, Norma Jean, Tom-Tom, Ivan, Leeboy and Bob. Those left to cherish his memory is his wife of over 63 years, Flossie Mae Sullivan; children, Lue Sullivan (Vanessa), Lucy Weaver (Jimmy Chestang), Arlene Huminston (Dennis), Judy Rivers, Joerine Chestang (Charles), Lue Elton Sullivan (Eucellis) and raised many more children as his own; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Shirley, Pearl, Penny and Neil; other relatives and friends. A special thanks to his caregiver and granddaughter, Loria Sullivan for the loving care given to her Grandpa. The wake will be from 6-9pm Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Home Gospel Holiness Church. The funeral service will be 2pm Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Home Gospel Holiness Church with Rev. Paul Chestang and Rev. Dwight Weaver officiating.
