Alberta Jane Wingard

Alberta Wingard, a resident of Gretna, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at her home Tuesday, January 28, 2020. She was 78 years old. She was involved in the local American Legion Auxillary, Unit 0164 in Citronelle, Alabama. Janie enjoyed singing karaoke with family and friends and had a passion for hunting and fishing. She was loved by all who knew her especially for her homemade biscuits and gravy.

Janie is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Wingard; her loving son, Arthur Joseph Lacourse, Jr.; and her parents, Clara Ann Baughman Rudisaile and Opie Rudisaile.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving daughter, Bonnie Bordelon (Owen Bordelon, Jr.); her two loving granddaughters, Alexis Bordelon and Crystal Lacourse; and her loving great-grandchildren, Madyson Lacourse and Gabriel Burnside.
