Annie Virginia Heckman

Annie Virginia Heckman, a native of Millry, Alabama, and a resident of Citronelle, Alabama, passed away Monday, February 27, 2017, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Annie was 60 years old. She was born December 03, 1956 to James and Sylvia Waite in Waynesboro, Mississippi. Annie loved to go shopping and had an endless supply of perfume. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Annie was preceded in death by her mother, Sylvia Waite; and her brother, James E. Waite. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 26 years, James Heckman; son, Daniel Lee Smith; daughters, Charlene Virginia Waite and Crystal Jean Hopkins; two step sons; grandchildren, Torie, Alexis, and Lizzy; great grandson, Bladen; six step grandchildren; brothers, Wayne Waite and Darwin Waite; sisters, Marilyn Stoker, Teresa Crager, and Beverly Gardner; and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 1pm until the 2pm funeral service on Friday, March 03, 2017, at Independent Community Church in Millry, Alabama. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery.
