Arthur Frazier Dickinson

March 4, 1935 — January 15, 2023

Arthur Frazier Dickinson, a resident of Deer Park, Alabama, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2023. He was 87 years old. Arthur was very patriotic and served three years in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He spent the remainder of his service in Camp Lejeune before his discharge. After his military service, Arthur was a first class welder at the Alabama Shipyard. In his spare time, Arthur enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Arthur was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Peggy Dickinson; parents, Montree Lee and Lillian Dickinson; siblings, Emma Lucille Webb, Jimmy Dickinson, Carson Dickinson, and Montree Lee Dickinson, Jr.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sister, Clara Lee Williams; a host of nieces and nephews; other relatives; and friends.

The family will receive friends from 10am until the 11am funeral service Friday, January 20, 2023, at Freeman Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Satterwhite, Bro. James Cole officiating.
