Bernie Morris Turner

Bernie Morris Turner, a resident of Deer Park, Alabama, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2019. He was 84 years old. Bernie was born October 15, 1934 to Boyd and Dora Turner. Bernie was an avid deer hunter and he also enjoyed planting a garden with his wife. He made a point to spend time with his family every chance he could. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Bernie was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers, and three sisters. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 62 years, Sarah Turner; children, Kenny Turner, Steven Turner, and Paula Smart (Jeff); eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; brother, Frank C. Turner; and many other relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held for Bernie at 2pm Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at Deer Park Cemetery with Rev. Barton Turner officiating.
