Betty-Dean Kerby Perry Robinson, born on April 24, 1950, in St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on May 15, 2026, at a local hospital in Mobile, Alabama. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), having served at Mobile Infirmary and other facilities with dedication and care.

Betty-Dean was known for her caring personality, always ready to help those in need. She had a warm heart and a genuine love for people. She never met a stranger and had a special fondness for all animals. Family gatherings were precious to her, and she loved capturing precious moments by taking videos and pictures during these special times.

Throughout her life, Betty-Dean and her husband, Larry Wayne Robinson, were pillars of the Chunchula and Citronelle communities. For 45 years, they were a well-known elderly couple frequently seen at local spots like the drug store, Dollar store, the Marketplace, and the Flea Market. Her contributions to the community will be remembered with great respect and affection.

Betty-Dean was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Baur Kerby; father, Dean Frances Kerby; brother, Dennis Dean Kerby; sister, Beverly Lynn Graydos; and foster sibling, Peggy Sue Nelson. She is now resting in the arms of Jesus.

She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Wayne Robinson, a native of Baldwin County, whom she was to celebrate 45 years of marriage with on May 23, 2026. Her sister, Donna Lee Hunt (Gary), and brother, Danny James Kerby (Tina) stand by her memory, along with foster siblings Patty L. Pippin, Wanda J. Holt, and Jeffery R. Stewart, all of Baldwin County.

Betty-Dean leaves behind her devoted children: daughters Virginia Kaye Perry (Edwin Cordero), Samantha Perry Goodrich (Phillip), and son Robert Lamar Perry, Jr., who will cherish her always. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren—Trisha Roxanne Koger, Jeffrey Glenn Koger II (Lizzie), Courtney Lynn Koger Arns (Zac), Brittany Nicole Thomas (Mathieu Michaud), Noah Pitts (Kristy), Emily Goodrich (Nathan), and Andrew Goodrich (Alissia)—and eleven great-grandchildren.

Her extended family includes nieces Tonya, Alita, and Shannon; nephew Gary Hunt, Jr.; ten great-grand nieces; one great-grand nephew; one great-great-grand nephew; and many other relatives and friends who hold her dear in their hearts.

A visitation service to honor Betty-Dean’s life will be held on May 20, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Freeman Funeral Home, located at 19180 N Center St, Citronelle, Alabama 36522.

Moma, you will be missed deeply. We all love you. Your kindness, warmth, and love have left a lasting mark on everyone who knew you. Rest peacefully. We will contine share your Legacy of Love throughout generations.
