Billy Gene Scruggs, 52, a native of Lucedale, Mississippi passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018. Bill was a boilermaker and spent most of his time on the road. He enjoyed all outdoor activities, especially bear and deer hunting, raising chickens and roosters, and spending time at the river. Bill enjoyed dancing and lived life to the fullest with all his women. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Gene and Patricia Scruggs. Those left to cherish his memory include his sisters, Tammy Scruggs and Elizabeth “BooBoo” Lane (Frankie); nieces and nephews, Jack Brown, Kevin Street (Amanda), Ashton Paul (Carl), Kristy Street, Kirkland Walker, and Skyla Lane; great nieces and nephews, Hunter, Waylon, Brittian, Audrey, Jaston, Caseton, Kollyn, and Zaxton; other relatives and many friends. The family will receive friends from 10am until the 11am funeral on Friday, September 7, 2018 at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Stan Clayton and Rev. Marvin Robinson officiating.
