Bonnie Landrum, born on December 8, 1938, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025, leaving a legacy of love cherished memories for her family and friends. She was a vibrant soul whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who her.
Bonnie was the beloved mother of three children: Danny Landrum, married to Sizy; Bonita Walley, married to Kenneth; and Chris Landrum; two stepchildren, Carol Land, married to Hollis, and Shirley Keith, married to Bob. Her love extended to her grandchildren, including Brandy Turner, D.J. Landrum, married to Maree, Summer Ankerson, married to Bill, Patrick Walley, married to Tara, Nick Walley, married to Elizabeth, Scott Landrum, Megan Smith, Marie Evans, Lacie Hatcher, April Keith-Marks, Kelly Keith, and Kimberly Keith-Holsomback. Bonnie was also a proud grandmother of thirty-two great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, who will carry forward her loving spirit.
She is survived by her cherished sister, Barbara Kohn, Bonnie leaves behind a multitude of in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends who will forever remember her for her boundless generosity and the joy she brought into their lives.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, James Lee Landrum, who was her partner in life and love. She was also welcomed into eternal rest by her great grandson, John Daniel Landrum. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Alma Williams, and her siblings W.H. Williams, J.C. Williams, Melvin Williams, Dan Williams, Edwina Dunledy, and Rebecca Malone.
A graveside service to honor and celebrate Bonnie’s remarkable life will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Four Points Cemetery in Fruitdale, Alabama, beginning at 11:00 AM with Bro. Barton Turner officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a woman who enriched the lives of so many with her love, laughter, and unwavering devotion.
Bonnie Landrum will be deeply missed, but her spirit will remain alive in the hearts of those she held dear.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons.
