Brenda Darlene Speese, a vibrant soul celebrated for her outspoken and flamboyant personality, passed away on March 11, 2026, in Butler, Alabama. Born on October 23, 1957, in Mobile, Alabama, and resided in New Orleans, Louisiana for 40 years, Brenda lived her life surrounded by laughter, love, and an infectious spirit that brightened the lives of those fortunate enough to know her.
Throughout her life, Brenda was known for her giving and caring nature. She had a knack for bringing joy to others, often through her humor and a lively presence that filled every room. Her love for music and appreciation for jewelry showcased her passion for beauty and creativity, traits that defined her character. Brenda delighted in joking around, always eager to share a laugh and spread happiness.
Among her greatest accomplishments, Brenda took immense pride in the time spent with her family. She cherished her relationships with her son, James Weaver (Brandy), her grandson, Jacob Weaver (Trishtian), and her great granddaughter, Jalanie Weaver. These bonds brought her endless joy and fulfillment, and she was a constant source of warmth and support in their lives.
Brenda is survived by her loving family, including her son, James (Brandy), her grandson Jacob (Trishtian), and great granddaughter Jalanie. She also leaves behind her beloved siblings: Sharon Orso, Cathy Dixon, Linda Jarman, Kay Snow, and Kenny Jarman, who will carry her memory in their hearts.
Brenda was preceded in death by her devoted husband, James Willie Weaver, her parents, George Speese and Betty Jarman, her special niece, Felicia Orso, and her cherished aunt, Qumyre Dixon. Each of these individuals held a significant place in her life, and their memories will forever be intertwined with hers.
