Brent Sabre Weaver, born on December 25, 1972, in Alabama, passed away peacefully at his home on November 11, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, and is remembered for his outgoing, loving, and humorous nature.
Finding great joy in his work, Brent dedicated 25 of his 30 years in the logging industry as a skilled equipment operator with Sullivan Timber. He was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his career, but it was outside of work that his vibrant personality truly shined. A passionate outdoorsman, Brent loved deer and turkey hunting and often proudly shared that he had the best deer dogs around. Riding dirt roads, horses, and fishing were among his favorite pastimes, allowing him to connect with nature and enjoy the simple pleasures of life.
Above all, Brent's proudest accomplishment was his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Arlene Weaver, and their cherished children: Breanna (Tyler), Megan, Jason, Dustin (Magen), Jessica, Cheyenne, and Cole. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Malakai, Nehemiah, Zaidan, Austin, Tye, Cashlin, Peyton, Lilly, Maverick, Aspen, and Ezrah. Brent also leaves behind his siblings, Charlie, Ronnie (Kristi), and Amanda (Scoot), along with a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
Brent was preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl Weaver; father, Elvin Alday Johnston; grandmother, Louise Joy; and grandfather, Alfred Weaver. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit and the memories he created with those he loved will forever remain in their hearts.
Visitation will be held on November 14, 2024, from 2:00 PM until the 3:00 PM funeral service at Mount Moriah Baptist Church with Bro. Eddie Stringfellow and Bro. Ronnie Toomey officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Moriah Cemetery.
Brent Sabre Weaver will be remembered not just for his accomplishments and interests, but for the way he touched the lives of everyone who knew him. His laughter, kindness, and unwavering love for his family will endure as a testament to the remarkable man he was.
