Bryan Keith Taylor, born on January 17, 1960, and passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, August 11, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Bryan lived a life marked by dedication, faith, and an unwavering work ethic that inspired all who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Dora Taylor, and their cherished children: William Taylor (Tracy), Kaleb Taylor (Courtney), Kamry Taylor (Charles), and Pacey Taylor (Tristen). Bryan was also a proud and doting grandfather to his grandchildren, Maleek, Mackenzie, Kendyn, Oaklee, Lenzeigh, and Milo. He will be deeply missed by his siblings: Armon Taylor (Anna), Edna Johnson, Willie Taylor, Jean Richardson, Laura Wiley (Paul), Sallie Harrison, Faye Taylor, and Debra Boler. Additionally, he held a special bond with his nephew, Johnny Taylor, and leaves behind a multitude of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, along with many friends.
Bryan's life was defined not only by his strong work ethic but also by his deep-seated faith. He began each prayer with the heartfelt words, "Father we love You," a reflection of his devotion. He found great joy in attending church and fulfilled his duties as a deacon with honor and commitment. His appreciation for the simple things in life brought joy not only to him but also to those around him.
He remembered with fondness his late parents, Lige and Tollie Taylor, alongside his dear sister, Margie Weaver, and brother, Joe Taylor, who have all preceded him in death.
A wake will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sims Chapel Holiness Church. A funeral service celebrating his life will take place at the same location on Friday, August 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM with Bro. Jr Long and Bro. Robert Byrd officiating. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Assembly of God Cemetery.
Bryan Keith Taylor’s legacy will endure through the countless lives he touched during his journey, and he will be remembered as a man of great integrity, love, and faith.
