Cassie Marie Doran

Cassie Doran, a resident of Citronelle since 2016, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2019. She was 48 years old and lived with her parents since being diagnosed with MS 14 years ago. Her death was totally unexpected, and she will be missed by everyone who ever had the pleasure of her friendship. To know Cassie was to love Cassie. She loved football, but especially loved animals. Her two yorkies were the loves of her life. Animation movies could keep her occupied for hours. She graduated from Boulder High School and attended Mesa State College in Colorado. She insisted on moving to Alabama to be with her best friend, (and sister) Theresa. She is survived by her parents, Joe and Sharon; her sister, Theresa and husband Chris and their two children—her best buddies—Nic and Corbin; aunts and uncles, Cindy and Ed, Mish and Doug Clancey, and Uncle Jim from Chicago; and many, many cousins and friends from all over.
