Catherine Ann Davidson

Catherine Ann Davidson, formerly known as Catherine Ann Simison, passed away on June 18, 2024, at her residence. She was born on December 7, 1951. Catherine will always be remembered for the way loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Catherine was described as a happy, jolly, loving, caring individual who was the life of the party. She had a passion for taking trips to the casino, camping, and supporting Auburn football. Among her proudest accomplishments were her family, friends, and her dogs.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, William Davidson; children, Harley Davidson (Stephanie), Jody Davidson (Natosha), and Brandon Davidson (Rae); grandchildren, Jonathan (Tabitha), Riley, Abbey, Daniel (Hailey), Mackenzie (Jacob), Ryan (Destiny), Justin (Madison), Bailey, and Jacie; great-grandchildren, Gunner, Hayden, Brady, Emory, Madelyn MaKenna, and Ryla; along with many other relatives and friends.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Maurice Simison; and her half-brother, Lauren Dees.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the 12:00 PM funeral service Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Community Cemetery. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have known her. 

Catherine passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She leaves behind a legacy of love and joy that will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
