Charles Edward Manning

Charles Edward Manning, 72, of Russellville, passed away on July 1, 2018 at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock, surrounded by his loving family. The eldest son of Edward Earl Manning and Bessie Marie (Miller) Manning, Charles was born Nov. 29, 1945, in Mobile, Alabama. Charles was a member of First Baptist Church of Russellville, and a man of tremendous faith. A wonderful friend and mentor, Charles will be remembered for his generosity and kindness and he will be missed by all. Charles was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brother Donald Earl Manning (Flo) of Goodell, Michigan; sister, Mona Marie Holm (Charlie) of Bay City, Michigan; his children, Tammy K. Perrette (Shelby) of Huffman, Texas; Kelly Manning (Kimberly) of Cayce, South Carolina and Charles Michael Manning of Dardanelle; and grandchildren Mark and Kyle Rayman, Alex and Joey Perrette, Camryn and Mitchell Manning. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Russellville on Thursday, July 5, 2018. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on July 9, 2018, with visitation 1 hour prior to service, at Freeman Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Gulfcrest Cemetery.
