Charles Leslie Byrd

Charles Leslie “Hippie” Byrd, 63, a native of Mount Vernon, Alabama and resident of Citronelle, Alabama passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Crowne Healthcare of Citronelle. He was a truck driver most of his life. Hippie loved to have a good time and socialize with his friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Hippie was preceded in death by his parents, Aaron and Annie Byrd; and brother, John Forrest Byrd. Those left to cherish his memory is his sister, Pearlie Clarice Lott; niece, Virginia Ann Lott; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 1pm until the 2pm funeral service on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church with Rev. Dunford Cole, Rev. Barbara Brewi and Bro.
