Christopher Travis Thompson

Christopher Travis “Porky” Thompson, a resident of Hurley, Mississippi passed away Monday, June 17, 2019 at his home. He was a pipefitter and loved watching Alabama football. He loved Harley Davidson, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandkids. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Faye Dean and sister, Frances “Puddin” Thompson. Those left to cherish his memory is his sons, Bryan Cole and Christopher “Nanny” Thompson, Jr. (Marlana); daughter, Marilyn Thompson; grandchildren, Chris and Crimson; sisters, Susie Jackson and Charlotte Jones; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 12pm until the 1pm funeral service on Friday, June 21, 2019 at Happy Gospel Field Holiness Church with Rev. Eddie Rivers and Rev. Wilbert Reed officiating.
