Dale Edward Pugh

Mr. Dale Edward Pugh, 59, a resident of Mt. Vernon, Alabama, passed from this life on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Citronelle Convalescent Center in Citronelle. He was born July 10, 1954 in Grove Hill to Mr. Warren Elroy Pugh, Sr. and the late Edna Earle Adams Pugh. He was formerly employed with Alabama Power and the Town of Mt. Vernon. He is preceded in death by his mother, Edna Earle Adams Pugh; brother, Dexter Pugh; sister, Charlotte Havens; brother-in-law, Dale Havens; nephew, Anthony Pugh. He is survived by his father, Warren E. Pugh, Sr.; son, Rodney Piner; 5 brothers, Warren Pugh, Jr. (Chrissy); Jimmy D. Pugh, I, Marty Pugh (Jody), Tim Pugh (Brenda Zelaya), David Pugh; 2 sisters, Elreta Everett (Franklin), Donna Phillips (David); a host of beloved uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation for Mr. Pugh will be held 12 - 2 PM Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Freeman Funeral Home in Citronelle. Funeral Services will follow at 2 PM Wednesday from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. David Phillips and Rev. Gaylon Cunningham officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Vernon Community Cemetery.
