Danny Daniels

Danny Daniels, 71, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at his residence in Citronelle. Danny was a member of the Citronelle United Methodist Church where he was the coordinator of the Food Bank. Danny worked for 30 years and retired from Ciba Chemical Corporation. Danny was active in various community service organizations. He coached and umpired Citronelle baseball and softball leagues. He served on the Citronelle City Council for 12 years. Danny was a founding member of the Citronelle Burnt Out Cruisers Car Club. He was an avid outdoorsman and was an award winning columnist for The Citronelle Call. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Barbara Daniels; children, D’Anne Daniels Dunn; Brad Daniels and Jason Daniels; grandchildren, Calob, Jackson, Cade, Elizabeth, Gabe, Chaz, Anna Grace, Michael, Slade and Jeffery William; other relatives and many friends. A wake will be held Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 5pm-8pm at the Citronelle United Methodist Church. Funeral service will be 2pm, Sunday, January 7, 2018 at the Citronelle United Methodist Church with Rev. Lauren Helveston, Rev. Denny McDavid and Rev. Anthony Tutor officiating.
