Darrel Wayne Weaver

Darrel Wayne “Chin Lee” Weaver, a resident of Mount Vernon, Alabama, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018. He was 53 years old. Chin Lee was born May 19, 1965. For most of his life, he worked as a mechanic. He was preceded in death by his parents, Josephine Weaver and Thomas Byrd; and siblings, Willie Weaver, George Weaver, Rose Mary Weaver, Ronnie Byrd, and Charles Byrd. Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Tosha Evans and Emily Evans; step sons, Anthony Evans and Brandon Evans; grandchildren, Kiara Evans, Keelee Holifield, Karmen Holifield, and Jayden Evans; siblings, Sterling Weaver (Lucy), Birtlee Taylor (Gene), Barbara Byrd (Spencer), Sally Smith (Walter), Catherine Weaver (Hayes), Fred Weaver (Patricia), Florence Campbell (Clint), Chris Weaver (Lettie), Nellie Byrd, Glen Byrd, Roland Byrd, and Vera Rivers (Stan); a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 10am until the 11am Mass of the Resurrection on Monday, October 15, 2018, at St. Theresa Catholic Church with Rev. John Coghlan, celebrant.
