Deborah Lynn Lofton Newburn, 56, a native of Citronelle, Alabama and resident of Mobile, Alabama passed away Saturday, August 15, 2020 at her home, where she was the happiest. Deborah was an amazing and loving mother, but her greatest joy was when she became a “MiMi”. She not only raised her own children, but she also treated every child as her own. Deborah was always the person you could count on. Her smile and genuine kindness to others was Deborah’s trademark. She had a big heart, and she never met a stranger. Deborah will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Deborah enjoyed shopping and going to the beach. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. Deborah was known in the community and surrounding areas as a Home Interior Consultant and was also a tax preparer and helped her customers for many years. Those left to cherish her memory include her parents, Ray E. and Marie Lofton; children, Kristy Newburn, Craig Newburn (Stephanie) and Cody Newburn (Jennifer); grandbabies, Emery Rose and Saylor; siblings, Amanda Dollar (Lawrence Ray), Jackie Conjulusa (Dean) and Calvin Lofton (Tracy); sister-in-law, Penny Lofton; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 11am until the 12pm funeral service on Friday, August 21, 2020 at Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Dino Danzey officiating. Burial will be in Charity Chapel Cemetery. Online condolences may be given at www.freemancitronelle.com. Freeman Funeral Home – Citronelle, Alabama.
