Delores Ann "Gigi" Maddox

Delores Ann “GiGi” Maddox, a resident of Saraland, Alabama, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020, at Springhill Medical Center. She was 65 years old. GiGi was well known and loved throughout the community. She always made sure her family was taken care of. She enjoyed being with them, especially her grandchildren. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Ann was preceded in death by her mother, Obra Byrd; father, Richard E. Byrd; and godmother, Katie Lee Sullivan. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 44 years, Woody Maddox; children, Nick (Saprina) Maddox, Shantel (Jeff Johns) Maddox, Tina Orso Lane, and Alice Byrd (Joseph) Madison; grandchildren, Bella, Peighton, Parker, and Carleigh; and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 10am until the 11am funeral service Wednesday, December 02, 2020, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church with Rev. Barbara Brewi, Rev. George Weaver, and Rev.
