Donald Richardson, a beloved family member and friend, passed away on September 30, 2024 at Springhill Memorial Hospital. Born on July 3, 1958, Donald touched the lives of many throughout his journey, leaving behind fond memories and a legacy of love that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.

He was a supporter of Alabama football, finding joy in sharing this enthusiasm with family and friends. Donald's proudest accomplishment was the deep affection he held for his family and friends; they were the center of his world. He cherished every moment spent with them, creating bonds that will endure beyond his passing.

Donald is survived by his father, Vernon Joseph Richardson (Jeanette); his sisters, Lisa Lewis (Jeff) and Cathy Wiggins; his brothers, Ray Richardson and Ronald Richardson; and his sister-in-law, Diane Allday. He was a beloved uncle to his niece, Cariana Allday, as well as his numerous nephews, Jeremy (Tara), David (Haley), Corey (Sydney), Jeffery, Sawyer, Cooper, JD, Landon, Abby, Tripp, Trey, and Quinton. Additionally, he leaves behind many other relatives and friends who will carry his memory forward.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Grace Lorane Richardson; his brothers, David Richardson and Elvin "Bubba" Allday;  and his brother-in-law, David Wiggins.

A graveside service in his honor will take place at Mount Vernon Community Cemetery on October 4, 2024, beginning at 1:00 PM with Bro. Mike Reid officiating. Family and friends are invited to come together to pay their respects, share stories, and celebrate the life of a man who was deeply cherished by all.
