Donnie Edmond Byrd

Mr. Donnie Byrd, 53, a native of Mt. Vernon, Alabama died Thursday, November 7, 2013 at his residence in Citronelle. He was a Millwright. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maxwell Byrd, Sr. and Joyce Doris Weaver Byrd; sister, Pauline Everett and brothers, Steven Byrd and Maxwell Byrd, Jr. Left to cherish his memory, wife, Sherri L. Byrd; children, Joel Byrd, Stephen Byrd, Ginger Snow, Jacob Snow, Kelly Snow and Jonathan Snow; brother, Joel T. Byrd; seven sisters, Janice Mann, Odessa Sutton, Alice Schaffer, Connie Poffenbarger, Beverly “Missy” Byrd, Betty Hopkins and Lois Hopkins; special niece and godchild, Julia Schaffer; special nephew, Jayceton Walker; special friend, Donna Davis; lifelong friends, Dennis Frazier, James “Cool” Sutton, Bo Sullivan, Rusty Smith and Tommy Weaver; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 12 pm until the 1 pm Funeral Service on Monday, November 11, 2013 at Cedar Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Nick Williams officiating. Interment will be in Byrd Cemetery.
