Elizabeth A. Weaver, affectionately known as Becky, passed away on August 16, 2025, at the Mobile Infirmary Medical Center. Born on January 5, 1960, she lived a vibrant and full life, leaving a lasting impression on those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Becky was known for her friendly demeanor; she truly embodied the spirit of kindness and warmth, never meeting a stranger. Her passion for life was apparent in her daily interactions, as she engaged in heartfelt conversations and cherished the friendships she cultivated throughout her life. She found joy in simple pleasures, whether it was talking on the telephone, taking trips, doing yard work, or savoring meals out with family and friends.
One of her proudest accomplishments was spending time with her grandchildren, Kobe, Kaiden, Alaeyah, and Emma. They were a source of immense joy and pride for her, and their laughter filled her heart with happiness.
Becky is survived by her beloved son, Nick Weaver, and his partner, Kandina Woods. She is also survived by her cherished siblings, Bonnie Johnston (Greg), Regina Vice, and Harold Johnston (Brenda), as well as her Goddaughter, Brittany Byrd. Additionally, Becky leaves behind a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends whose lives she touched through her warmth and generosity.
She was predeceased by her husband, Terry Weaver, her parents, Alday and Mavis Johnston, her brother, Brent Weaver, and her niece, Brandy Havelin.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from 11:00 AM until the 12:00 PM funeral service at Mount Moriah Baptist Church with Bro. Dwight Weaver and Bro. Ronnie Toomey officiating. Burial will follow in Johnston Cemetery. This gathering will celebrate the life of a remarkable woman who lived fully and loved fiercely.
Becky's legacy will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of her family and friends, who will remember her for her caring spirit and the joy she brought into their lives.
