Elsie Weaver

On June 6, 2024, the world lost a beloved soul, Elsie Weaver, who passed away at the age of 74. Elsie was born on March 27, 1950, to her loving parents Agnes Echols and the late Qunnie Echols. Throughout her life, she cherished the moments spent with her family and friends and took immense pride in her children and grandchildren. Her family meant everything to her.

Elsie was known for her sweet and kind nature, always lighting up the room with her warm smile. She had a passion for dressing up and adorning herself with beautiful jewelry, a true reflection of her elegant persona. Her love for music, shopping - especially with her best friend Dot Weaver, Chinese food, and reading showcased her diverse interests and vibrant spirit.
 
She is survived by her children, Crystal Woods and Eric Echols; stepchildren, Timothy Weaver and Pam Weaver; grandchildren, Brent, Brett, Kaleb, Daulton, Kade, and Dericka; her dear mother, Agnes Echols; as well as her siblings, Erma Covington (Clifton), Jr Echols (Charlene), Kent Echols (Kelly), Hilda Echols (Rick), and Lila Echols (Christopher); devoted aunt, Esther Stewart; a multitude of nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
 
Elsie is now reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Robert Tim Weaver, who was by her side through thick and thin. She also joins her father, Qunnie Echols; sisters, Maxine Covington, Lisa Echols, Fran Echols; niece, Billie Reed "Nute"; and nephew, Benjie Covington. Their memories will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved Elsie.
 
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the 2:00 PM funeral service at Magnolia Holiness Church with Rev. Jr Long and Rev. Ike Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Reed's Chapel Cemetery. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
