Elvin Luke Allday, Jr., known affectionately as Bubba, passed away on July 23, 2023, at the age of 64. He was born on March 7, 1959, to Elvin L. Allday, Sr. and Jeanette Richardson.

Bubba was a talented Boiler Maker Welder who dedicated his life to his craft. He took great pride in his work and was known for his exceptional skills. His dedication and commitment earned him the respect of his colleagues and the admiration of all who knew him.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Bubba will be remembered for his larger-than-life personality. With a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh, he was always the life of the party. His caring and generous nature touched the lives of many, bringing joy and happiness wherever he went.

In his free time, Bubba was an avid hunter and fisher. He had a deep connection with nature and enjoyed spending time in the great outdoors. Racing cars was another passion that brought him much joy and excitement throughout his life.

However, above all else, Bubba cherished his family and friends. They were the center of his world, and he made sure to always prioritize spending quality time with them. Bubba was deeply committed to his relationship with his wife. He told everyone that he had never loved anyone as much as he loved Diana. Together, they were blessed to weather the storms of life with the guiding hand of Jesus.

Bubba's proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly his children. Cariana Allday "Punkin" and Elvin L. Allday, III "Trey" brought immeasurable joy to his life, and he was immensely proud of the individuals they had become. His love for his children was endless, and he treasured every moment spent with them.

Bubba leaves behind a host of beloved family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory. He is survived by his loving wife, Diana Frazier Allday; his children, Cariana Allday and Trey Allday; and his grandson, Chistopher Quinton Echols, Jr. "Q".

He is also survived by his parents, Jeanette and Joe Richardson; sisters, Cathy Wiggins, Lisa Lewis (Jeff), and Tina Allday; brothers, Melvin Allday (Rhonda) and Donald Richardson; as well as his sister-in-law, Kim Sanders (Ted) and brother-in-law, Dennis Frazier; father and mother-in-law, Joe and Rhonda Frazier; uncles, S.E., John, and Agnew Watts; aunt, Etta Sue Sheffield; best friends, James Henry Byrd, Leon Byrd, Raymond Bright, Thomas "Tom Cat" Holton, Eric Rivers, and Kenny Sheffield.

Bubba will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews, Jeremy, D.J., Brittney, Pebbles, Judson, Jeffrey, Corey, Hallie, Day Day, Nick, Wade, Crystal, Matthew, and Luke. Their lives were touched by him in immeasurable ways.

He is preceded in death by his father, Elvin L. Allday Sr.; brother Michael Allday; grandparents Shepard and Effie Watts; mother-in-law Lillian Frazier Weaver; brother-in-law, David Wiggins; beloved aunt, Virgie Rawls; uncle, Larry Skipper Allday; lifelong best friend, Tommy Sullivan; as well as great friends, Ricky Best, Goose Lofton and Eddie Lee Jordan. 

To honor Bubba's life, a wake will be held on July 27th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Freeman Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place on July 28th at 1:00 p.m. at Simple House of Praise Church with Bro. Dean Hopkins officiating. Burial to follow in Frazier Cemetery. 

As we bid farewell to Bubba, let us remember the incredible impact he had on each of our lives. May his soul rest in eternal peace, knowing that he was deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
