Ervin Donald Turner, a lifelong resident of Citronelle, Alabama, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, January 18, 2020. He was 90 years old. Ervin was born February 01, 1929. He retired from Mobile County Road and Bridge. Ervin was a loving father and grandfather, an avid hunter, and loved the Lord. Ervin was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Turner. Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Walter Turner (Carol), Rickey Turner (Carolyn), and Karen Hobbs (Marc); seven grandchildren, Selena Isler (Stephen), Corey Rabon (Matt), Jeremy Hobbs, Walt Turner (Sandi), Tanya Cunningham (Don), Cassie Giles (Jeremy), and John Hobbs (Elizabeth); nineteen great grandchildren; one great great grandson, Carter; sister, Myrtle Blount; a host of nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. A wake will be held for Ervin from 6pm until 8pm Monday, January 20, 2020, at Living Word Church. The Celebration of Life service will be 11am Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at Living Word Church with Rev. Marcus Hobbs officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery.
