Essie Pearl Jarman

Mrs. Essie Pearl Jarman, age 75, of Citronelle, passed away Wednesday, January 03, 2017, at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center in Mobile. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Essie is preceded in death by her husbands, Dick Shirley and Bryant Jarman; parents, Charlie Edward Moore, Sr. and Willia Grace Champion Moore; daughter, Willie Lou; brothers, Charlie Edward Moore, Jr., Homer David Moore, and Robert Nathan Moore; sisters, Lois Virginia Malone, Beatrice Scurlock, Sara Jane Jenkins, and Edna Grace Shirley. Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Luther Shirley and John Shirley (Theresa); grandchildren, Matthew Bennett and Adam Shirley (Megan); great grandchild, John Wyatt Shirley; sister, Shirley Moore Jenkins; sisters in law, Margaret Coody Moore and Ellen Busby Moore; a host of nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 10 am until the 11am funeral service Saturday, January 06, 2017, at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Reid officiating.
