Ethel Mae Jackson

July 16, 1932 — September 16, 2020

Ethel Mae Henderson Jackson, long-time resident of Boligee, AL and resident of Citronelle, AL, ascended into Heaven with the angels on September 16, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred & Effie Henderson, husband, Jimmy Jackson, sister, Audrey Brown, brother and sister-in-law, Frederick & Sharon Henderson, nephew, Jimmy Neese, niece, Wanda Evans and niece’s husband, Johnny Zehner.

She leaves to cherish sweet memories one sister, Edna (Dean) Averett, nieces Dianne (Larry) Alston, Sandra (David Skinner) Tate, Rita Zehner, nephews, Darryl (Janie) Neese, Britt (Dana) Neese, John (Brandy) Neese, Josh Neese, nephew’s wife Berniece Neese, cousin, Laverne Wheatley and special friends Paula Blankenship and Kim Hayes.

Her greatest passions were the love of the Lord and her trust in the Christ Jesus, dancing the jitterburg and taking care of animals. Her Christian influence was felt by many. She adoringly loved her family and spread smiles and laughter with her hugs and sense of humor.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., with a visitation beginning at 10:00am, September 18, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home, Citronelle, AL with interment afterwards at Forest Lawn in Saraland, AL.

For those who knew and loved her, the brightness and humor that followed her wherever she went will be missed eternally.
