Eunice Louise Odom, age 98, went home to be with the Lord on September 7, 2025. Eunice married the love of her life, M.B. Odom Jr. on April 21, 1946, and started a family. She spent her life as a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and homemaker. She and her husband started a nursery business in their early retirement years, “Double O Nursery”. She had a gift for making everyone feel special and loved. She never missed a chance to attend a ball game, recital, birthday party, Sunday dinner or any event where she could be near her family. She was a wonderful cook her specialty was roast, rice and gravy. She always had something good on the stove and a warm smile to greet you. She never said bye when she hung up the phone, it was always “we’ll see ya, hear”. Her favorite song was Old Rugged Cross she would raise her hands and sing along anytime it played. She was truly the best Mother and Grandmother, and the Lord saw fit to bless our family with her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, M.B. Odom; parents, Emmit and Annie Belle Miller; and siblings, Audrey, Bubba, and Alvin.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Sandra Mosley, Tommy (Patsy) Odom, and Mike (Ashleigh) Odom; grandchildren, Kim Mosley, T.J (Dena) Odom, Chris Odom, Amber (Lafe) Keebler, and Kalah (David) Frederic; great grandchildren, Braxton, Brayden, Keagan, Ronnie Ann, Ryann, Eli, Emalynne, Maggie and Sawyer; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
