Frazier Ellis Holloway, born on October 22, 1944, in Hartford, Alabama, passed away on January 13, 2026, at The Retreat, Hospice by Saad. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend who was deeply cherished by those around him.

Ellis is survived by his devoted wife, Eva Holloway, and his children: Sandra Holloway, Stephen (Tamie) Holloway, and Michael (Yvie) Holloway. He also leaves behind his stepchildren, Richard L. Weaver and Eva Byrd, as well as a sister, Cathy Underwood. Frazier’s family was his pride and joy, which included his grandchildren: Cody Wood, Meghan Wood, Jacqueline Holloway, Matthew Mims, and Susan (Paul) Willers. He adored his step-grandchildren: Laken (TJ) Weaver, Paula (Ellis) Orso, Katelyn (Lakeldrick) Reed, Ceara Weaver, Zack Weaver, Blake Weaver, and Jaci Weaver. Additionally, Frazier had a host of great-grandchildren, a special grandson-in-law, TJ Weaver, a special sister-in-law, Nadine Potter, and a special brother-in-law, Joe Watson.

His life was marked by love and devotion to his family and friends, whom he held in the highest regard. Among his many joys, Ellis found passion in watching golf and football, and he enjoyed the excitement of visiting the casino.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pharoah and Essie Holloway; his daughter, Sherri Schwartz; siblings Billy Mac Holloway, John (Linda) Holloway, and Ralph (Martha) Holloway; as well as grandchildren Katie Gargis and Kirsten Weaver.

Services to honor Ellis' life will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Freeman Funeral Home in Citronelle, Alabama. Visitation will take place from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral service with Bro. Lloyd Austin officiating. Burial will follow in Byrd Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be TJ Weaver, Ellis Orso, Lakeldrick Reed, Richard Weaver, Zack Weaver, and Bruce Myers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cody Wood and John McDonald.

Frazier Ellis Holloway leaves behind a legacy of love, family, and cherished memories that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know him.
