Gracie Ellen Cole Turner Ellis

Gracie Ellen Cole Turner Ellis, 74, passed away Friday, December 20, 2019 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center in Mobile. Gracie was born to Abb and Ola Mae Cole on July 17, 1945. Gracie loved to sing, sew and cook. She was the lead singer in Charity Chapel Jesus Name Church and she was solely devoted to her church and family. Gracie was preceded in death by her parents, Abb and Ola Mae Cole, husband, George F. Turner, Sr. and brother, Cecil Cole. Left to cherish her memory is her husband George Ellis; children, Gerald Turner (Karen), Frank Turner (Amy), Jonathan Turner (Shannon), Andy Turner (Janet); grandchildren, George, Gerald, Jr., A.J., Anna, Katelyn, Abby, Trapper, Tucker, Elizabeth and Andrew; siblings, James Cole (Brenda), Paul Cole, (Betty), Roger Cole (Brenda Gail), Alene Stringer (Richard), and Marie Sanchez (Tom); host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. A wake will be held Sunday, December 22, 2019 from 5pm-8pm at Freeman Funeral Home. Funeral will be held 10am, Monday, December 23, 2019 at Charity Chapel Jesus Name Church with Rev.
