Ike Johnston, 64, a native of Mobile, Alabama and resident of Citronelle, Alabama passed away Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Springhill Memorial Hospital. Ike loved Elvis Presley and enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved to go to church and volunteered to sing every chance he that he got. Ike will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ike Johnston, Jr. and Myrtle Weaver Johnston. Those left to cherish his memory is his brother, Alex Weaver (Liz); sisters, Patricia Rivers (Chip) and Diane “Tink” Helvin (John); 3 nephews, Alex James Weaver, Charles “Monk” Rivers (Penny) and Anthony Rivers (Laina); niece, Tricia Weaver (Derrick); 4 great nephews; 8 great nieces; aunts, Irene Young and Virginia Roland; very special friend, Ola Mae Talebian; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 1pm until the 2pm funeral service on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Bethel Lighthouse of Prayer Church with Rev. Dwight Weaver, Rev. Ken Davis and Rev. Anthony Rivers officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Moriah Cemetery. Online condolences may be given at www.freemancitronelle.com. Freeman Funeral Home – Citronelle, Alabama.
