Jacqueline Burton

Jacqueline Burton, a resident of Satsuma, Alabama, passed away Thursday, November 05, 2020. She was 76 years old. Jacqueline enjoyed reading, cooking, and taking care of others. Most of all, she loved spending time with and caring for her family. Jacqueline was always giving to others and the love of God shown through her. She was well known and loved in the community and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Burton; children, Rex Reed and Richard Burton; grandson, Mitchell O. Reed; parents, Oliver Lofton and Delphine Weaver; and siblings, Tom V. Lofton and Freddie Lofton. Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Ricky D. Reed, Todd E. Reed, Edmund B. Reed, Nicole B. Robinson (Eddie), and Richard O. Burton; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; siblings, Clara Weaver and Levi Lofton; and other relatives and friends. A wake will be held from 6pm until 9pm Monday, November 09, 2020, at Freeman Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 12pm Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at McKenley Holiness Church with Rev.
