James Alfred Stringfellow

James Alfred Stringfellow, a resident of Citronelle, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at his home. He was 80 years old. James enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and watching wrestling. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Lillie Stringfellow; son, Michael Stringfellow; grandson, Brenton Lane; and four sisters, Dora Reed, Jessie Mae Wiggins, Jeannie Brown, and Carolyn Staehle.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Betty Stringfellow; children, Mary Hemphill (Jeff), Brenda McKinney (Joe), and James Stringfellow, Jr. (Donna); grandchildren, Alana, Ike, Kevin, Luke, Joseph, Anna, Amber, and Michael; sixteen greatgrandchildren; sister, Joyce Kellebrew; special friend, Dorothy Odom; other relatives; and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1pm until the 2pm funeral service Saturday, October 01, 2022, at Freeman Funeral Home with Bro. Dean Hopkins and Bro. Clyde Byrd officiating.
