James Lavoy Richardson

James Lavoy Richardson, affectionately known as Leroy, a resident of Chickasaw, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020. He was 64 years old. Leroy was born October 22, 1956 in South Carolina. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and Alabama football. He was known for having the best BBQ in the south! Leroy was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 41 years, Linda Richardson; children, LaTrisha Jackson, Duston Richardson, and Chassitie Smith; grandchildren; mother, Florence Denton; sister, Loretta Weninegar; nephews and nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 1pm until the 2pm funeral service Saturday, November 14, 2020, at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Perry officiating.
