Janet Juanita Byrd

Janet Juanita Byrd, 55, a native and resident of Washington County, Alabama passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at her home. She loved God and had a childlike faith. Juanita loved to sing, especially “I’ll Fly Away”, and color in her coloring books. Juanita enjoyed spending time with her family, especially all the children. She was loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nellie Voncille Byrd; father, Wesley Taylor; and sisters, Ollie Palmer and Mattie Mae Byrd. Those left to cherish her memory is her sisters, Nora Connolly and Angela Byrd; brother, Michael Byrd; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The graveside service and burial will be held at 2:30 pm Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Byrd Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Alabama with Pastor Joseph Grimes and Rev. Phil Herr officiating.
