Janie Rebecca Patrick

Janie Rebecca Patrick, a resident of Charity Chapel, passed away Monday, February 21, 2022. She was 65 years old. Janie was born July 08, 1956, and was retired from Mobile County Public School System as a teacher's aide. She worked with children with special needs and she had a passion for helping them. In her spare time, Janie enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Charlotte Sullivan. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Tommy Patrick; children, Jamie Patrick (Leslie) and Janae Smith (Thurston); grandchildren, Blake, Rylie, Daniel, Joshua, Cale, Elijah, and Lilly; sister, Cathy Sullivan (James Ray); brother, Bobby Sullivan (Theresa); her McDavid Jones Family; other relatives and friends.

A wake will be held for Janie from 6pm until 9pm Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Freeman Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 1pm Friday, February 25, 2022, at Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Brenda Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Charity Chapel Cemetery.
