Jerry Jr McMillian

Jerry Jr McMillian, born September 9, 1980, passed away on August 30, 2026.

Jerry will be remembered as a jokester with a very loyal heart. He enjoyed swimming, cooking on the grill, and was an avid hunter and fisher. He also treasured spending time with family and friends, and those moments shared with him will remain a lasting source of comfort and remembrance for all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Jimmy Byrd (Audra), Scott Byrd (Summerlyn), Elizabeth Courtney, Joseph Miller, Mikala McMillian (Devin), and Madison McMillian; grandchildren, Piper, Parker, Grayson, Tinsleigh, Harper, Maeleigh, Roselynn, Kaylee, and Dezmond; parents, Linda Kay Robinson and Jerry Lee Reid; siblings, Karrie Reid (Derrick) and Leslie Robinson (Daniel); and wife, April McMillian; close friends, Tillman McGhee and Bill Newburn; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

He is peceded in death by his brother, Jerry Reid; his step-father, Richard “Peppy” Robinson; his grandfather, Charles McMillian; his grandmothers, Gloria McMillian and Helen Reid; and his grandfather, Bobby Reid. Each of them carries forward the memory of his presence, his humor, and the loyalty that defined him.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the 3:00 p.m. funeral service on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Full Gospel Tabernacle with Bro. Jimmy Boothe and Bro. Mike Reid offiating. Burial will take place at Charity Chapel Cemetery.

Jerry Jr McMillian will be remembered with affection and respect by those who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
