Jon Jade Taylor

Jon Jade Taylor, a resident of Tibbie, Alabama, passed away at his home Thursday, August 08, 2019. He was 51 years old. Jon was born February 20, 1968. He enjoyed flying his model airplanes and was a die-hard Alabama football fan and will be greatly missed. He will be remembered as a loving father and friend. Jon was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Turner Haynes; father, George Taylor; grandfathers, Thomas Taylor and Herman Turner; and grandmothers, Lucille Taylor and Edna Bell Hall Turner. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 24 years, April Hodge Taylor; children, Benjie Covington, Jr., Thomas Covington, Jon Alex Taylor (Hannah Singleton Taylor), and Rachael Taylor; five grandchildren; step-father, Wallace Haynes; siblings, Thomas Steven Taylor (Kyehee Kang Taylor), Vicki Welch McTague (Ken McTague); and other relatives and friends. A wake will be held for Jon from 6pm until 9pm Saturday, August 10, 2019, at Tibbie Baptist Church. The funeral will be held at 2pm Sunday, August 11, 2019, at Tibbie Baptist Church with Rev.
