Judith "Judy Red" Weaver, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on January 11, 1960, Judy lived a life filled with love, laughter, and countless treasured memories.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Lamaze Weaver, and her children: Jereme Farmer (Kim), Monique Farmer, Doris Boyington (Craig), and Carlynn Motes (Andrew). Judy's legacy continues through her grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable joy: Daniel Taylor (Jayla), Jessica Weaver (Buck), Lathan Farmer (Lydia), Kearah Koger (Alex), Shayna Lofton, Jayla Strachan, Maze Boyington, and Jasmine Byrd. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Lowey, and her two bad rabbits, Kambreigh and Wrenley.
Judy's love extended to her family members, including her siblings Hazel Weaver (Glen), Maeola Allen, Shirley Farmer, Ensley Farmer (Jamie), Diane McDaniels (Daniel), and Wallace Rivers (Lynn); a multitude of nieces and nephews, cherished in-laws, and many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
Judy was preceded in death by her beloved son, Mitchell O'Neil Reed; her father, Cecil Farmer; her parents, McKinley and Stella Rivers; and her siblings, Betty Byrd, George Farmer, Michael Rivers, and Lilly Bell Sullivan.
An avid Auburn fan, Judy cherished the moments spent watching football games alongside her daughter-in-law, Kim. She also enjoyed taking cruises, her trips to the casino, shopping excursions, and spending time with family and friends, often going to the beach, river, or creek—anywhere there was water.
Judy Weaver was not only a devoted family woman, but also a warm spirit whose proudest accomplishments centered around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were number one in her life. She brought brightness and warmth into the lives of those around her, and her kind heart will be deeply missed.
