Kathryn Sheffield

Kathryn Sheffield, mother to Bruce and John Sheffield, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025, after a long battle with Parkinson’s. Her final moments were spent peacefully in her home in Pensacola, FL, surrounded by family.

Known for her commitment to God and her family, Kathryn will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Kathryn’s family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Kathleen Lucas and her husband, Bruce W. Sheffield. Kathryn is survived by her sister, Martha Connell; her sons, Bruce E. Sheffield (Jennifer Sheffield) and John W. Sheffield; six grandchildren, Lucas, Aaron, Christian, Chloé, Rebecca, and John (Jack) Sheffield; and three great grandchildren, Heidi, Lincoln, Nikki.

A memorial service will be held at the Methodist Church in Citronelle AL at 12:00PM on Saturday September 27, 2025. 

Flowers and memorial gifts are welcome but not necessary and may be sent to the Citronelle Methodist Church.
