Kenneth Weaver, Jr., affectionately known as “Bug”, a native of Mount Vernon and a resident of Citronelle, Alabama, passed away Thursday, April 06, 2017. He was 54 years old. Bug was born August 02, 1962, to Kenneth, Sr. and Marcia Weaver. He served as a Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corps and as a Sergeant in the United States National Guard, where he served in Operation Desert Shield/Storm. After serving his country, he became a self-employed truck driver. He drove for several different companies, most recently driving for ASF Intermodal, LLC. Bug loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his children and grandchild. He had a kind heart and was always willing to help anyone in need. You never saw him without a smile on his face. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Weaver, Sr.; stepfather, Blewett Reed; sister, Trisha Marlene Weaver; and one nephew. Bug was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially his loving wife, Susan Weaver; children, Morgan Weaver, Kayla Lott, Daron Johnson, Jr., Joseph Lott, Elijah Johnson (Stephanie), and Destiny Johnson; one grandchild, Braxton Raber; mother, Marcia Reed (Robert Shoultz, Jr.); sister, Sandra Rivers (Roy); brother, Ron Weaver; six nieces; six nephews; six great nieces; four great nephews; and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 12pm until the 2pm Mass of the Resurrection Thursday, April 13, 2017, at Saint Theresa Catholic Church with Rev. John Coghlan, celebrant.
