Larry David Bailey Sr.

Larry David Bailey, Sr., born on October 3, 1947, passed away Friday, June 15, 2018 at his home. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Marines and the United States Army. Mr. Bailey worked as a mail carrier with the United States Postal Service. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Brenda Bailey; sons, Larry David Bailey, Jr. and Joseph Shane Bailey; grandchildren, Stephen, Cody, Jacob and Bryson; seven great grandchildren; brother, Ricky Bailey; sisters, Bobbie Howard and Georgeann Ross; best friend, Larry Goodman; other relatives and friends. The wake will be from 6-9 pm Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home. The graveside service will begin at 1:30p.m. on Wednesday June 20, 2018 at the Alabama State Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort, Alabama with Rev. Dwight Weaver officiating. Military honors will be rendered by the American Legion Post # 164 of Citronelle. Mr. Bailey will be dearly missed and never forgotten. Semper Fi.
