Lily Denise Mason

Lily Denise Mason, a loving and family-oriented individual, passed on February 22, 2024. She was born on August 7, 1958. Denise will be remembered for her kind and funny personality, as well as her dedication to her family. Her presence in the nursing field was one of her proudest accomplishments.

She is survived by her husband, James I. Mason; daughter, Kristen Longoria (Leonardo); granddaughter, Liliana; sisters, Patti Strickland, Cheryl Thomas, and Kathi Smith; a multitude of nieces and nephews; along with other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her.

Denise is preceded in death by her parents, Coy and Betty Smith; sister, Teresa Weaver; and brother, Freddie Smith.

A Funeral Service to honor and celebrate Lily's life will take place on February 26, 2024, at New Home Baptist Church 10:00 AM with Rev. Clay Lewis officiating. Burial to follow in New Home Cemetery.  

In addition to being with family, Denise enjoyed listening to praise music and reading in her leisure time. 

She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
