Lois Letha Cochran, a hardworking woman with a strong faith and a loyal friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on July 6, 2023. Born on January 1, 1925, Lois lived a life filled with love, joy, and unwavering devotion to those around her.

Lois was cherished by all who knew her as a wonderful mother and grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life, and she took immense pride in guiding and supporting them throughout their journeys. As a mother, Lois's love knew no bounds, and she always put the needs of her family above her own. Her grandchildren, Haley Cochran, Cody Cochran, Genna Noel, and Cole Shirey held a special place in her heart, and she delighted in showering them with affection and wisdom.

In addition to being a dedicated family woman, Lois possessed a vibrant spirit that constantly kept her on the move. She found solace in doing yard work as it allowed her to connect with nature. The beauty she created in her yard was a reflection of the beauty she carried within herself. Going to the beach brought immense joy to Lois's heart as she marveled at the vastness of the ocean and felt at peace amidst the soothing waves.

Lois was also renowned for her skills in sewing. Her talent and passion for sewing were truly remarkable.

Music was another passion that brought immense happiness to Lois's life. Her melodious voice would fill the room whenever she sang hymns dedicated to the Lord. Through song, Lois found solace in expressing her gratitude and devotion. Her presence during church services would uplift everyone's spirits and serve as a reminder of the power of faith.

Alongside her husband, Mickey Cochran, Lois was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her sisters Eva, Eleanor, and Catherine, and her brothers Sunny and Lloyd "Jr". Though they may no longer be physically present, their love and influence will continue to guide Lois's family in the years to come.

Lois's legacy will continue through her surviving family members, including her son Barry Mitchell Cochran (Kelly). Barry was not only Lois's pride and joy but also someone she considered a close friend. The bond they shared was unbreakable, as they navigated life's triumphs and challenges together.

As we gather to celebrate the life of Lois Letha Cochran, a funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on July 11, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Lois Letha Cochran will always be remembered for her kind heart, unwavering faith, and selflessness towards others. Her love touched the lives of many who were fortunate enough to know her. Although she is no longer with us in person, her legacy lives on through the memories we cherish.
