Louis Anthony Weaver, a beloved figure born on July 1, 1934, in McIntosh, Alabama, passed away peacefully at his home on August 25, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He lived a full life dedicated to service and compassion, exemplified in his nearly 40-year career as a fire extinguisher service technician. Louis not only provided for his clients but extended his hand to those around him, offering jobs, rides, meals, and words of inspiration rooted in his faith and love for the Lord.
Louis was known for his bubbly personality, a true jokester with an infectious laugh. His optimistic demeanor and flirtatious charm delighted many, and he had a special talent for storytelling that could captivate any audience. His hobbies included fishing, exploring yard sales, and driving around to visit loved ones, making him a familiar and cherished presence in the community.
He proudly served his country as a Marine during the Korean War, embodying dedication and honor throughout his life. Louis found greatest joy in the company of his family, including his daughters Kelli Weaver (Tim Kozeluh) and Susan Bosman (Mark), and his sons Terry Weaver and Cody Weaver (Alena). He was also a proud grandfather to his grandchildren, Margaret and Adam Weaver, Alex and Raymond Walters, Sarah Rook, and Daniel Bond, who remember him fondly as a source of love and laughter.
Louis is survived by his immediate family and many relatives and friends who appreciated the warmth and kindness he brought into their lives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Annie Virginia Wiggins and Kelly Alec Weaver; daughters Angelette Bond and Linda Brown; and brother James Urban Weaver.
A visitation will be held on September 6, 2025, from 3:00 PM until the 4:00 PM funeral service at the Home Gospel Church with Bro. Paul Chestang officiating. Burial will follow in Hillspring Cemetery.
