Lucy Elizabeth Stagner

Lucy Elizabeth Stagner, a resident of Turnerville, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 28, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was 69 years old. Lucy was born October 18, 1948, in Citronelle. She was a hairdresser for many years. Lucy loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Lucy was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Gary E. Stagner; parents, Odell and Marie Frazier; in-laws, Verlon and Louise Stagner; and sister, Mildred Jones. Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Tammy (Jimmy) Fulmer, Joel (Catrina) Johnston Jr., Steve (Nancy) Johnston, and Keith (Summer) Stagner; grandchildren, Justin, Jared, Jenna, Addison, Hope, Urijah, Jaxon, Easton, Katelyn, and John; great grandson, Carter; siblings, Ardella (Elonzo) Ainsworth, Joe (Rhonda) Frazier, Ruth (Wilson) Johnston, Otis (Allison) Frazier, Joan (Paul) Hopkins, Sue (Otis) Newburn, Ricky (Pam) Frazier, Terry Rivers, and Darrell (Rachel) Frazier; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. A wake will be held for Lucy from 6pm until 9pm Thursday, August 30, 2018, at Freeman Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 11am Friday, August 31, 2018, at Turnerville Baptist Church with Bro.
