Margaret Ann Braley, affectionately known as Margie, left this world on November 6, 2024, at the age of 83. She was a beacon of joy, a loving soul whose impact on family and friends will be felt for generations to come. Born on March 21, 1941, her life was an inspiring tapestry woven with love, kindness, and dedication.
For 35 years, Margie embraced her passion as a beautician, bringing beauty and joy to the lives she touched. Her career was not merely a profession; it was an extension of her vibrant personality—a reflection of her happy, caring, and welcoming nature. With every hairstyle she crafted, Margie infused a little piece of her heart, creating cherished memories for her clients.
Beyond her profession, Margie had a multitude of interests—from crafting to flower arranging, painting pictures, and an eye for decorating that complemented her love for watching HGTV. She found delight in dressing up for church, never missing a chance to wear her favorite jewelry that mirrored her bright spirit. Margie's home was a reflection of her warmth, adorned with her handiwork that welcomed all who entered.
Margie's proudest accomplishments were her family, including her beloved husband, Dale Braley, and her cherished children, Mike and Betty Arlene Braley. As a grandmother, she derived immense joy from the visits of her granddaughter, Alexis, with whom she created countless treasured memories. Margie's love extended beyond her immediate family; her heart encompassed her brothers, James Harvey and his wife, Aggie, as well as her brother-in-law Bruce Braley and his wife, Becky. She held in her heart her numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a circle of friends, all of whom enriched her life in countless ways.
Margie's parents, James and Hazel Harvey, predeceased her, and while they are no longer with us, their legacy lives on through their remarkable daughter.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Margie's life on November 9, 2024, from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral service at Restoration Church. Burial will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery.
In remembrance of Margie's loving spirit, we are reminded of the joy she brought into our lives and the countless ways she made the world a better place. Her legacy of love, happiness, and caring towards others will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
