Marie "Mama Ree" Frazier, born September 3, 1929 went to Heaven on July 3, 2009. She was a housewife, mother and great friend. She was an active member of Calvert Baptist Church. She loved taking care of and making children smile. Mama Ree is preceded in death by her Parents, Hayward and Pearl Boyington; Three Brothers, Frank Boyington, Charles Boyington and O'Neal Boyington; Two Grandson, Charles Eric Newburn and Michael Odell Jones. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Mr. Odell Frazier of Citronelle, AL; Four Sons, Joseph (Rhonda) Frazier, Otis (Allison) Frazier, Ricky (Pam) Frazier, all of Citronelle, Darrell (Rachel) Frazier of Mt. Vernon; Seven Daughters, Mildred Jones of Deer Park, AL, Ardella (Elonzo) Ainsworth of Citronelle, Ruth (Wilson) Johnston of Mt. Vernon, Lucy (Gary) Stagner of Turnerville, AL, Joan (Paul) Hopkins of Mt. Vernon, Sue (Otis) Newburn and Terry Rivers, both of Citronelle; One Sister, Ellarine Stewart of Rabun, AL; Three Brothers, Earl Boyington and Purvis Boyington, both of Bay Minette, AL and Johnny Boyington of White House Fork, AL; Sister-in-law, Bessie Gray Lewis of Citronelle, AL; 46 Grandchildren; 69 Great-grandchildren; 6 Great-great grandchildren; Nieces, Nephews, Many Friends and Extended Family, especially, Freda Sullivan. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ray Hopkins, Shayne Hubbert, and Danny Newburn. Active Pallbearers will be Joseph Frazier, Jr., Mark Frazier, Mitchell Frazier, Dale Rivers, Joel Johnston, Jr. and Dean Hopkins. A wake will be held from 6 PM to 9 PM on Monday, July 6, 2009 at Freeman Funeral Home in Citronelle, AL. The Funeral Service will be at 11 AM on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at Calvert Baptist Church in Calvert, AL with Rev. Clay Lewis, Rev. Kesler Weaver, Jr. and Rev. Jimmy Sullivan officiating. Burial will be at Frazier Cemetery.
